I just purchased a beautiful 2007 XK convertible. I am looking for a reputable independent garage in the Dallas area to give it a full assessment.

 

I took mine to Passport Motors in Plano and they did excellent work. Got the bumper resprayed at a great rate when I got rock chips. They handled the full fluids flush and high mileage service. They had familiarity with XKs and were aware of common issues.

There are two Jaguar independents but both were hard to get ahold of and get in to see in person several times. I think one even said they don't handle the modern Jags, only the old ones. The one I went to was off of I35 near Royal area, IIRC.

 

I did take my XK to Passport the service was excellent.

 

I use Auto Fix It in Plano. 2011 XJ SC, 2012 XKR, they can do whatever needs doing. Trans service, differential service, water pump replacement. wheel bearing replacement. So far that's all I've ever needed.

i've only been to jag mac, the one off I-35 near royal. good guys. they don't have a key drop box, but last i saw, they do have virtually 24/7 police presence just down the street.
