Default Need full headlight assembly - driver side

Hi Forum,
I need to replace the entire headlight assembly on the drivers side. It got stuck in one position a few weeks back and now the lamp is blown. I'm just going to replace the whole thing. Any thoughts on where the best place would be to get one? I'm seeing a fairly large range of cost from $500 up to $850. Thanks guys.

Foolish mission... First pull the lamps out and swap them side to side to see if the fault follows the lamp. Then you can swap the aiming controller on the back to see if it follows the lamp. If it's in the lamp I'm 99% sure it's just a broken wire. I've done the repair twice now and expect to do it again.

Ok, cool. The lamp just went out today. Do you have a video or instructions?

Pics and description are in my build thread. Three bolts, the washer hose and one power plug to remove the lamp housing. Lay an old towel in the socket and set the off side one in and just plug the power in. Turn lights on the see if the symptoms change. I want to say the controller is held on with T20 or T25 Torx bits. Again, unplug the harness to remove any power, then swap the box from housing to housing.

Getting the lens off is the hardest part. You need to remove the outboard turn and park lamps, the spring clips and then heat the housing for 15 minutes at 175 or so for the black glue to release.

Once the lens is off remove the reflector torx bolts and then use a 5 or 6mm Allen wrench to release the white 1/4 turn fittings at the lamp adjusters. You'll need to pop the last pivot point socket off the ball and pop the aiming unit wiring free. Then inspect it for damage.
