Funny about that, I had Nevis on my 2010 XFR and swapped them out for a new set of the exact same Coventry Whitleys!
My favourite wheels by far, I wanted to keep them to swap over to the F-Type but the buyer of my XFR wanted them and it would have been a deal breaker to not let him have them.

… but “pretty” fake bolts! And “pretty” deserves the attention.
Besides, what else are you going to do with all of your free time…. edit others jpegs?? ;-)
And what about putting that old tooth brush to work??

Though I must attest that most of the variations of the 5 spoke wheel are my preference. But sentas are the best variation.
There. Did I get the last word in?

For my XK (and XJ too!) I prefer the 18" Vela wheels. Comfortable ride, great looks and super deals.
The F-Type dealer take-offs now on my XK were perfect factory finish, OEM tires still had nubs and factory balance!
All for the price of refinished wheels.
Additional 10mm offset on the 9.5" rear wheels fits and looks great on the XK.
The XJ sports refinished 8.5" wide XF wheels with same offset front and rear.
Different strokes...

Jaguar Vela wheel
@Bill400 can you take a side shot of the XK with your Vela wheels from a little more distance? Shot is too close to get an appreciation of them.

Sean I remember a set of velas came up really cheap down the road for me and after googling images xk 18" I thought they would look too small for the x150 series a real shame they don't come in 19" as they are a real nice looking wheel.

I like them, too.

Thanks @steve_k_xk for posting the pics. I like the look of them on the XK based on the pics you shared. I agree and would prefer them in 19". Cost being a factor as well as comfort, I've always avoided the 20". My fillings and my back can't take the pounding from the roads around here. I think they're still an upgrade from the stock Carelia's I have.

Sean I'm with you there on the 19s ..sometimes the 35 series and 30series profiles on the 20" wheel came be a little too much definitely noticeable on poorly maintained roads , the 19" carelia wheel is gorgeous

I've always felt that 20 inches is the right size for the X150. Anything smaller looks like casters to me.

From the right angles they sure do look good on the xk and a very comfy ride

These also look quite good in silver (19" orbit) they remind me of a large version of the Vela wheel

Default XK rims

I have a 2007 XK and I need to get new rims. My tire sizes are 255/35r20 (front) and 275/30r20 (rear). What size rims do I buy?

George is correct although why do you have 275mm ???that width is recommended for 18s & 19s, the 20s of that period left the factory with 285mm *strictly speaking xk/xkr and not xkr-s which used 295mm on 10.5" rim

Jim,
Take the time to research the pros and cons of wheel offset and remember that our OEM wheels are hub centric.
Nothing more frustrating that finding the "perfect wheel/tire combination" that contacts frame/fenders due to offset or just won't balance because they are lug centric. Also consider that changing wheel offset affects suspension geometry.

Remember to post your photos and performance results.

Bill

Default Repurposed Jag rims

Never before seen are these working rims. Repurposed Jaguar FPace 18" rims and outfitted with factory installed studded winter tires. Narrow enough to get thru the snow, and down to the pavement. All this makes for an interesting drive, predawn everyday.

Ready to work in 15F on ice covered streets.

No love for the Kalimnos? They're like a chunkier Senta. I am not keen on the writing on the Nevis wheels....
