Boot Lid Badge
Great looking Porfolio - do you still have the leaping jaguar emblem for the boot? Would like to order one from you if possible - thank you. Rick
Here's a few pics of my:
2009 Jaguar XKR Portfolio Edition Convertible.
In 2009 Jaguar produced 200 of the XKR Portfolio Edition in the Convertible model and only 180 of the Coupe models. These are rare Jaguars indeed. This model has the optionable oversized Alcon brake calipers and 350MM and 400MM oversized rotors. The Alcon braking system is the largest that Jaguar ever put on the XK/XKR models. This model is pure luxury.
Currently as of this date, this 2009 XKR car has 16,223 miles. The XKR has performed flawlessly. The car was purchased via the internet, after a vast amount of due diligence and was professionally transported from Florida to New Mexico, it's present home.
More photos of this magnificent automobile can be found in my signature below. Enjoy.
Thanks for looking.

I finally got my first Jag! I've wanted one of these for the last several years. I figured this was a good time to buy while I could still afford it.
2007 XK with the aluminum package
Interior is in great shape! I've only seen these in wood trim and the aluminum kinda threw me off. Apparently this was an $8000+ option. Opinions?
The rh round back-up light will be my first replacement project. It works but, has a lot of condensation and may not pass inspection.

Nice ride. Enjoy it. I'm a wood guy myself but the aluminum interior features do look nice. If I'm not mistaken the right "backup light" is in actuality a fog light. The earlier years of the XK's had the backup lights in European style. Check the owner's manual to make sure. Welcome aboard, you will find the forum to be a very useful place regarding all Jaguars.

The rear fog light is on the driver's side, so in the US it's on the left. So he is talking about his backup light.

Thanks for the kind replies!
When I noticed the moisture I turned on the rear fog and only the left side worked. After a bit of reading through the forum, I had my explanation as to what was going on. When my part arrives and the weather cooperates, I'll start a new thread asking for some help.
Meanwhile, I think I'll have to do some work on my glove compartment door...
