I've had convertibles half my life and never thought about that. Definitely trying that out this summer!

I see. Thought maybe you had really short legs, and could put real people in the rear seats!
And what? No windscreen?

The minimal wind with the top down has never bothered me, even on the freeway.

Huh. Lucky you.
My hat stays on better with the screen up (no blast from the rear pushing it forward), and the wife's hair doesn't get as 'messed up'.

Yeah, the wife's hair is a problem, but I have a hat for her in the glove box. She has really long hair, and the hat works pretty well.

As promised, more pics of the Jag.I'll try to get more pics during the day cause I always leave the house only late in the evenings and i know it's inconvenient taking pics at night since you can't see the full detail of the car that well
I finally got more pics during day time, but somehow they wound up at the top

My P/S drag car is that color. Close anyway, 1996 Viper Dandelion Yellow, with black accents.

Default My lovely 2008 XKR

Had the car little over 5 weeks now. What fun to drive!
Took one of the dogs (CKCS fit nicely in the rear seats) to Pt Judith lighthouse this beautiful afternoon and grabbed a nice photo with the ocean as a backdrop.

In parts of this country that are reserved, understated and relaxed, this car is really in its natural element and timeless.

We were out taking a drive and keeping a safe distance from others, when we came across this 4.2 XKE sitting in a parking lot by itself only about 2 miles from our home! I couldn't resist getting a shot of them together. What do you think, shouldn't he have had the top off to be in tune with true roadster weather too?

Took mine out for a drive just before the UK went into lockdown a couple of weekends ago. First "proper" photos since I completed the "black pack" stuff.
