Just pickup my '08 XKR yesterday. Can't get the blackberry to pair to the car. Any suggestions?

go to blackberry website.. and go to downloads i think and type jaguar in the search field .. and there will be a bluetooth pairing partner its called.. hook up your BB to your computer and download.. this program .. once installed in your bb use it to pair with your xk

on the xk . did your car come with the i pod installed? or your thinking of getting it installed.?

 

just had a 09 xk porfolio.. and the i pod connectivity.. is similar to XF and it works perfectly.. very fast transitions between cd radio and ipod and usb.,

 

No the 2008 XK's and XKR's don't have the IPOD at all. And no one seems to have a solution other then the FM transmitter.
I cant believe this level of Alpine doesn't have that option, but everyone I've talked to dealers and audio installers have no clue about how to do it.

 

actually there is a i pod kit you can buy.. from the dealer.. some canadian dealers dont have it.. all american dealers have it..there about $560.00 i have one on order for my customer.. gonna install it next week

 

also if your software level in your BB is below 4.1 then it wont work .. may have to upgrade to a smart BB what year is your BB .. and what state or province you live in ?
