They look very dangerous to mee- not only is there no rubber for grip, the surface is polished. Its not very practical, will show scratches. Pretty ill-conceived, stay away friend.

 

Here's what I bought because they DO have rubber tips coming through every hole ... and they were $32 with free shipping!

Have the same ones (except with the leaper logo) and they've worked fine this past year. Not sure why they don't have the logo anymore. Maybe someone sent them a cease/desist because of the obvious trademark violation.

 

I plan to keep them clean. However, if necessary I will add Push in Bumpers. Many sets have cut outs that show black parts but they do not protrude the metal and are just as slick if not more slick.
