Anyone going to the Queen's English Car Show tomorrow at Woodley Park in Van Nuys (Los Angeles)? Although it was canceled last year and postponed from April to August, this year, it has always been a great show with a large Jaguar contingency. I'll be taking both my X150 and my X100. Jay Leno usually shows up with something outrageous and is his usual affable self.
Those of you in Southern California ought to stop by. There are hundreds of cars from every British marque including Jaguar, Aston-Martin, Rolls Royce, Triumph, MG, Lotus, Mini Cooper, Singer, McLaren, Austin Healey, and many others, new and old. There is also a flea market for parts.
Hope to see some of you tomorrow. My favorite car from the 2019 show. The Jaguar lineup including my silver XKR from 2019
See you tomorrow Ted. JOCLA put out an E blast about the show, so I expect there will be at least a few members showing up with their Jaguars. I will probably get there shortly after 8am. Ralph
Hope you had a good turnout!
This Sat. (AUG. 7th) is Seattle Jag Club's annual Concourse at Anacortes Swinomish Casino & Lodge WA.
All are welcome...............
Ahhhh didn't know - I would've gone for sure!
I spy TBerg's silver ride among the photos - seems like there were more 150's represented than in the two years I went. Any other familiar forum members?
I'll get my pictures downoaded soon. I had my X150 and my X100 XKRs there. And Ralphwg was there with his beautiful XJS. The turnout of Jags was the most I've seen in at least the ten years I've attended. And there were many, many E-types. All in all, a great turnout. And Mr, Leno showed up in a large Jensen C-V8 coupe, much more sedate than his usual entry, but gorgeous nonetheless.
