Hey now....beauty is in the eye of the beholder. In this case, the owner has cataracts.

Link for more awesome pics.

Maybe it was the center car in a three-car rear-end accident? Dude did what he had to on the cheap.

According to Carfax, not only was it involved in an accident, they rolled back the odometer. But hey, what do you expect for the $29k asking price?

Saw that thing on the web the other day, but didn’t post about it, just too many other sad things in the world these days.

I tried using their CHAT feature to rag on 'em, but it was contracted out. The person just kept trying to get my name and number

Do you think they'll consider a trade for this gem?

is that an airbag car or what?
the original photo didn't repulse me as much as I anticipated, the 'restore' looks to have been done well...just a different take on what constitutes beauty.

Looks like the Michelin man had a car shoved up his rear end.

You SERIOUSLY need to look again! You sit here and said this Jag got the look of a Bugatti Veyron when they tried their BEST to make it look like 1 of these old fashion station wagons from the 80s.Idk if you know this or not but you disgraced the Bugatti and disgraced the Jag by complimenting it for looking so terrible with this god awful paint job.Who ever painted this car that way told the paint shop the station wagons in the 80s were their favorite paint jobs and the paint shop said "say no more"

Haha, the internet is great.

Barry, I didn't say it looks like a Veyron, nor did I compliment the look. I said that to me, it looks like the owner was going for a faux Bugatti Veyron look.
Faux:
made in imitation; artificial.not genuine; fake or false.

I don't know what the owner's intent was. Perhaps he/she was going for the station wagon look as you opined.

Here is what the mod reminded me of:
https://www.bugatti.com/models/veyro...randt-bugatti/

Perhaps the owner was going for the XK Rembrant Edition.

I see wym with the Bugatti now,but only lower part is painted and i see lots of sports cars like dodges and camaros painted that way.But this guy didn't take it that route at all.The ugly 80s station wagon was his influence to make an XK look that hideous 🤕🤢🤮

The greatest travesty for me is it looks like the custom bumpers are done quite well, which takes massive effort and cost, which, if this's the case, could have been put to great use in fabricating something truly stellar.
