Radar Run
Took my XKR to a local Air/Car show yesterday. The only jag in attendance, again. Did the radar run thingy... 100 mph with traction control on, 112 mph with traction control off, spun the tires through 3rd gear. No time, just a 1/4 mile radar run down the runway. The car suffers from no limited slip, this is my next upgrade. Car is stock except the cats.
Pleased with my runs as the fastest was an 2017 Camaro SS, it ran 121 mph. I was the 7th fastest (small show) only about 30 of us doing the run in cars. Fastest overall was 135 mph on a bike. Sorry not a bike guy, I think it was a Yamaha 1000cc.
As always the interest in the car was non-stop at the show. Did not win anything, never do, as the car being an 2007 is just still too new at a classic car show. But we are not there for the trophies, just the camaraderie.
