Default Rear suspension + eibach springs

First time round the eibach springs were way too harsh thought I'd try it all again

Task one was to swap out the worn stabiliser link rods and toe adjustment rods

After replacing these I had a quick poke around and my upper control arms look good however the lower control arm bushes are starting to deteriorate.

Then came the installation of the eiback rear springs (20mm)

Went for a short drive and the suspension didn't feel too intrusive in actually fact I didn't notice any difference in ride quality will want and see how it goes out on the open road

I have the Spires Eibach 20mm springs on an XKR and huge improvement.

If you saw my recent suspension postings, you may have seen that I went with Moog links front and rear. They were very inexpensive but more importantly much thicker and stiffer for better performance.

Straight out of the box these cars tend to have a floaty feel about them and can't be driven anywhere near their limit without feeling unstable

The eibach springs have surely made the xk feel a lot more stable, more planted on the road and lastly eliminated that unsightly wheel arch gap

As I've already replaced the rear drop links I might try the moog variety upfront

Would be interesting to see the xkr-s suspension specs versus the ones we have as they are both made by eibach

Lastly did you notice any tramp when going down the 1/4 with the new springs vs the oem, as I'm planning on going back out there to test the gains on my modified tune
