Good afternoon gentlemen, The saga continues... My 9 yr old daughter and I were enjoying the sunny California weather with the top down. I own a 2009 XK convertible. The Jaguar Gremlins showed up when I put the top up. The rear passanger quarter windown did not roll up. I can hear the mechaism move or attempt to roll up the window but nothing happens. Anyone have any suggestions? Much appreciated.

 

At least a couple threads in here with pretty much step-by-step instructions. Search is better in Google and mostly refers you back to here.

I had the window regulator fail on that window in mine. There are several options for replacements out there.

and read all the posts. Another member was kind enough to post a video on how to replace it.

I replaced mine with a rebuilt one from Window Motor World in Florida. I had them ship it and I reused their box to ship back the core for a refund. I was very pleased with their work.

Window has to be up to get it out., on mine - I had to cut the cable to do that.
