Greetings all,

I'm still trolling theses forums anticipating a possible purchase of an '07 XK. It has been three weeks since I saw my first XK on a lot at an agreeable(?) price and I have been researching ever since to see if I am indeed ready for such a sweet machine financially.
One question has bothered me that I hope can be answered here...
First, looking at this (very basic) reliability report on MSN , I see two areas of concern.
1.) Steering & Suspension, and 2.) Heating and Air Conditioning.
These are vague at best but has me wondering just what changed to clear up the issues for the 2008 model year?
Has anyone identified different steering/suspension components (via part number or such) that are obviously different to show a fixed problem?
How about the heating cooling? Why the bad reputation for '07 but not '08?
Obviously manufacturer are quick to address flaws discovered current production runs, and that is what we all expect. But as a possible future '07 owner, have these been identified as something easily mended by installing superior '08 parts or is it something else all together?

Good question. Would be better if we could associate to manufacture date to easily tell what issues the car could have. I am looking at 07-08 as well.
