Default Replacing windshield wiper blades

Can someone tell me the trick to replacing the blades on my 2013. It seems it should be simple, but I have
not found the right way to take them off. Thanks as always.

It used to be so easy with a simple spring clip before the designers got to work and put a U shaped bend on the end of the arm!

Takes less than 5 mins to change both, just be careful not to let the arm go once wiper is detached as it can damage your screen.

OP, can I ask when the last time you changed a wiper was?

Very wise words. I had just gotten my windshield replaced on my BMW and decided to change the wiper blades. Took off one side and the arm slammed on the windshield and broke it. Grrrrr.

Very simple once I realized the small clips that have to be raised first.
