Thumbs up Saw a unicorn this morning

Bleary eyed after a long night of suffrage working for the man my son and I were heading home to breakfast and bed when merging from I81 North to I70 East I noticed a newer black XK (R?) with DLR's behind me. We only had a mile of traffic before my exit and thumbs up were shared as I slowed so he could get beside me before veering off. First one seen in the wild. Pretty cool.

BTW, blower cars absolutely love cold air. Nailed it before a yellow 100 yards ahead rolling at @30, the dang thing squatted in the rear, lifted the front and leapt through the light at somewhere North of 60 mph in front of grocery haulers back up for their morning Dunkin's.

Me, MAYBE once, as I caught a real quick glance of what MAY have been an XK(R) going opposite while riding in the wife's RX. I couldn't verify OR see it out the rear window.... I've seen three F-Types though, in four years. Utah ain't the greatest stomping ground for good cars though. A good number of Porches (mostly cayennes) and zero Horses or Bulls. Hard to put fourteen kids and three wives in a Ferrari.

The BAD thing about nice, dense cold air.... no traction on cold streets.

I've seen a Lambo a few times on 193 by the south gate, but cars like that don't really register on my radar. Truthfully, I get more excited over the museum- grade '77 Civic CVCC my neighbor drives a few times a week, or if I see a clean ST185 Celiac AllTrac on the road.

Even here in the Jaguar motherland, you don't exactly trip over XKs. I guess I may see them more often than most, because I have to go to the Harley St area regularly, and there's one or two owned by surgeons and specialists. Elsewhere? - rare as rockinghorse ****.

If you were to come out to LaLa Land you would probably see about a dozen a week or so on the West Side. Sometimes XKs even come in bunches.
