The cars were pretty and the girls were prettier. The Japanese and South Koreans have some promising concepts, bu the best looking thing I saw there was the Jaguar C-X17. The interior is spectacular. I couldn't get close enough to it to take better pics, but this is the best I could do. Rear bucket seats.

I seen these at my local dealer a few months ago and posted a thread on them "quilted seats". They really look good and give the interior a much needed boost. I tried to make my standard luxury seats look like them but it will not work using covers. If I could get a set of them cheap I would.

Yeah, that kind of sucks. the Jaguar cooled seats are top notch. I still prefer the diamond stitching and besides I live in an igloo in Canada.

They come with the 2014 XKR Performance Pack:
This package brings together some of the most popular performance equipment at an excellent value compared to standalone options.
Included are: Performance seats in Diamond Sew stitch pattern, Performance Active Exhaust and Jet Suedecloth steering wheel.
The Diamond Sew stitch pattern on the front seat backrests and head restraints, and the on the rear-seat backrests, is available in Charcoal with Red contrast stitch, Charcoal with Ivory contrast stitch, or Ivory with Ivory stitch. The Performance Pack, which is available with select exterior colors only, can also be combined with the Black Pack and the Dynamic Pack.
Change to cost of car will be: $3,400¹
They can also be ordered separately for $3400.

I bet each seat, complete, buying all the individual parts, frame, covers, airbag, electrical harness, etc. will be over $7,000: 2013 Jaguar XKR-S Parts - Direct JPLV Porsche Parts.com Holy crap, next time you set in your driver's seat you'll feel like your setting in a $7,000 seat.
The only way to get the seats, which would make economical sense, is from a salvage yard parting out a 2014 XK or XKR with the performance pack or optioned seats. I very rare and unlikely find.

well since I have bought my XKR-S in January and have not tried the cooling function are the "performance seats" cooled ... ? They did not look perforated to me but that is just a guess here at work right now ... but as far as I remember there was just heating bars next to the seat on the center display not cooling like in my XF. I might be wrong but I believe none of the perfomance seats have cooling ....
for most cars it is not uncommon to pay upwards of $6K or even $13K for seats but that usually means a much lighter carbon fiber shell to save some serious weight, not just a deviated stitching of the surface ...

These seats are not cooled and is why I'm happy with the feel of the standard seat. If you try to select cool it's greyed out and will not work.
Living in south florida cooled seats are a must April through November and even in the Winter, but I absolutley love the diamond pattern. I was looking at RS7s before my XKR and those seats just make the interor look that much better.
