XKGLOW Sequential Switchback DRL LED Turnsignal for Headlights
When I installed ultra bright white DRL LED strips in my headlights, I considered the switchback ones but at the time couldn't find any that were bright enough. But if there are some that are now, I'm up for it.
Nifty look to them for sure…… I know that some members have indeed opened up their lights, but I would be afraid that eventually moisture would seep in. The problem with buying any car as they first come out is that in 3-4 years the look will be 'dated' and we will always be chasing an upgrade. Having said that, if aftermarket modernized look 'plug and play' headlights were available, (and relatively reasonable,) I would prob consider them.
It really is simple;
Heat up your oven to 170 degrees (gulp) and let 'em bake for awhile. Take 'em out and pull. The heat loosens the grip of the gooey adhesive.
(why do ya think I want a 'volunteer' first?)

I replaced a headlight where the adaptive motor stopped working. I kept the old one in case I ever wanted to experiment before working on the installed ones. I may see on the old one, how difficult it is getting inside.

I'd like to know just how bright these are. Keep in mind factory LEDs are typically extremely bright 1-3 watt LEDS and after market are usually a fraction of a watt.
