ShadyJC is back
Hello all -- I haven't been very active on here for a while, but I am still around and now I have a new ride. After serving me well for several years I just upgraded from my 2007 XK Convertible to a 2012 XK-R Convertible. This is the first time in my life I've liked a car so much I've purchased it twice!
My 2007 XK, Slate Grey:

My new-to-me 2012 XK-R, Polaris White with Black Pack.
I've already hardwired my Valentine One radar detector using the same instructions I used with my 07 (Installation: Valentine 1 hardwire in 07 XK Convertible - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum)
I have a few years worth of mods to accessories and tips and tricks to catch up and read up on. It's good to be back!

No, seriously, going from the 300HP NA 4.2L to the 510HP SC 5.0L is like a drug addition... I like to floor it every chance I get. The power is amazing and so is the accompanying sound. However, it has been a real shot in the wallet. After about a week of ownership I've noticed in my mixed driving MPG go from ~25MPG in the XK to ~18MPG in the XKR so there is no doubt that I will be visiting the gas station more frequently.

After owning an '05 and an '08XK, I left for an XJL but, last week returned to a 2010 XKR with 6K miles on it. It being shipped to me so, I have not driven it, yet, so can not testify to the same experience of going from 300HP to 510 in the XK. Well, our XJL and XF have 385HP which is rather decent.
Looks to me that your white car has wheel spacers installed as the wheels appear to be where they should be...
