Default Some stuff about leather care

Saw another thread regarding caring for leather seats a while ago, and didn't have my stuff with me to recommend. Came across the bottle the other day.
What to put on your seats, dash, etc? This:

Why? Because it is the EXACT same product JLR sells in the Approved Leather Care Kit, for less $$. (Thanks to Queen and Country, wherever he is, for getting the ball rolling on this.) This company is top notch. Here's their article on care for automotive leather, which is the most clearly-written one I've come across:

If there was any bare leather in our cars, they'd be gross by now. Good thing all the leather is painted and then plastic-coated!
on-going fight, I know

I know that just wiping down the leather and keeping it clean works. I vowed not to condition the leather on my leased XE and after three years, the seats looked like new. Dog was in the car all the time and plenty of sand and dirt made its way in.

+1.

A former boss of mine worked as a finance director at a leather company and he called that process petrifying the leather as a joke. They did not find it as humorous as we did.

I’m wondering how close we can get with vinyl nowadays to this painted and coated leather we have.
