A STEAL for the right person...
I've seen a few folks on here looking to get into an XK convertible for an entry-level price.
I think --assuming it checks out-- that this car's a steal. It's private-party so I'd bet he'd take the first offer over 16K...

It is difficult to tell if the XK is a deal until it is fully inspected and a complete history of the vehicle is available. It is only speculation of how good a deal this car really is.
Yes, the price looks attractive, but is it really?

This is true for any used car, $5,000 or $50,000. Certainly the older the car and higher the mileage the more risk is assumed.
I would say that this is not really a screaming deal unless PK knows this person and can vouch for the history, I look on Cars.com and there are 2007 vert's with an asking price below, at the same, and a little above this one with similar mileage.
Yes, a 9 year old car with the previous version of engine/tranny is getting less expensive every day. The world is simple, it will be less expensive next year also!

you either pay now or you pay later. I'd rather pay more now for a well-maintained car from a Jaguar enthusiast. That said, I'm in the market for a 4.2 XKR Coupe or a 5.0 XK Coupe.
