Steering feels light

So I finally got to watch the clip, and it is exactly as Jeremy says, faster than 130 - I was doing 170, (didn't trust the car going any faster especially zipping around the corners on the track!) and the steering is light and skittish. He blames the spoiler. Has anyone tried driving without the rear spoiler? Is it easy to take off?
