Looks pretty good huh? Modern look if you're not a wood dash guy/purist Just need new mats and aluminum pedals Take your time and use rubber medical gloves to remove each piece - and don't worry if you mess up applying the wrap, the wrap is super cheap Easily undo screws.... Clean with 50/50 isopropyl alcohol (see YouTube videos for tips)

Wow. That really looks good, I was trying to think of what would modernise and match my cream interior and this certainly does look impressive... You did an amazing job too of wrapping the parts, I'm sure that wasn't too easy to do either... Great Job !! Thanks for sharing...

Since you have a cream interior, here's mine with the factory "lux aluminum weave package" and an ivory/slate interior combination. While I mostly like it, it's definitely an unusual combination.

I think it's relevant to Luke's post #103 but yes, it might have been better to point him to a link instead.
The ability to extinguish error or fault codes such as low tire pressure etc from the instrument cluster display will be lost with the conversion. With the OEM infotainment system the instrument cluster display can be made normal by removing the fault message. This could be frustrating for some owners dealing with persistent fault messages.

Would you be able to clear those fault messages with an inexpensive OBDII ELM327 DTC reader and the free Torque app? If so, that's a cheap and easy work-around.

THIS would be a deal-breaker. At least until I get around to disabling my TPMS.
Course, low key battery would also do this, and a few other things I have seen.
I don't think clearing codes with an ELM would remove the TPMS error from the dash though. Nor a Low Battery warning.
disable TPMS with SDD and replace the fob battery when it tells you to - it’s not just there to annoy you or prompt
you to make it go away each time it reminds you

It is strange that Luke is totally gone, no interest at all in this forum so why post only the unit and then be gone? He showed a picture of the airco buttons and it was on recycling and the heatet steering wheel is on while you see at the top of the screen it's 34 degrees celcius outside!? Also, why are there 2 places on the unit to adjust fan speed? I've been checking Aliexpress and they don't sell many and only a couple of reviews where one writes "It works! And for a very reasonable price. It fits perfectly with my Smart Car. I installed it myself, the process is simple. You just match the wires and most are color-coded." this is written by a US buyer!?
I'm not convinced and won't be buying one just yet. It's to much money for me to spend on a unit that might not work as well as the video and Luke shows.
He hasn't been active since the 25th of October although that doesn't really mean much. I reckon if he doesn't return or has little input regarding this product then suspicions may be correct. But it doesn't matter really. I think everything there is to know has already been discovered and I would expect no further updates or changes to the product. The X150 is a very, very small market, these companies already offer the same type of product for numerous other marques, particularly ones with a greater presence and better aftermarket demand.
