Switched live?

Switched live?
In the on going saga of installing my stereo, I need a switched live from somewhere. Not high current, just to act as a switch to tell me to power the amp up.
I tried today to buy a topix subscription but the payment didn't go through - my card issuer said it did but topic said it didn't. An email to topix opened me a customer service ticket, but no clue when that will get resolved.
Anyways, can someone point me in the direction of a wire carrying switched live ( ie +12v when ignition on) - preferably from the rear fuse box.
Cheers folks!
Ps , yes I'm documenting all I do for an extensive post when completed.

I've got and installed (bar the switched 12V bit) an FLI450 unit.
Next step is the switched 12V and run the wires to the speakers.
Then finally install the new speakers. Next 2 steps may be done in one go - depends how much time I get without rain!

Manic, here's a clip from a PM from gn4hir, when I had the same question/need as you. Now the system w/ amp and processor fully powers up when the radio is switched on (everything else can be off).
...it would cycle on / off over and over when I had it set to come on with signal sense. I had to set mine to come on when the ignition is started. This is when I found the accessory wire (a constant + and switched +) in the rear driver side panel by the taillight.

...I should add that the BitOne and BitTen processors both have the ability to be switched on when they pick up on a signal to the speaker. His photos posted on the aftermarket thread may make reference to which wire is switched - I think it's green.

..confirmed - it's green. See photo #5 of Gn4hir's posting for confirmation and photo of where the wire is located.

Hi folks!
Just to confirm - the switched live point is *not* a green wire. That green wire is the one that was to to run from the switched live molex connector in Gn4Hir's posting.
Looking behind the panel as indicated there is a spare molex in there with 3 wires, brown, black and red/white. The red/white is switched +12V.
Still many thanks though to Bart for helping me find that! Couldn't have done it without him!
