Default Winners of the Tacky Leaper Contest!

FIRST PLACE goes to ... WTF?? Mating season? V12?

My apologies if this belongs to a Forum member.

SECOND PLACE: Now THAT's a leaper! But where do you put the leaper logo ornament? And what does it look like the rider is doing? I guess it's called the Shaguar!!!

What were they thinking?

Hope this gave you a good laugh!

Stuart

I think the facing leapers/R V12 and the leaper bike have my little guy on the gas cover beat.

Fun fact.. Your little leaper looks almost identical to the one on the B-Pillar of my XJSC- these were unique to the Cabriolet body style. About the same size too.

Then their marketing folks started selling a decal of the shield and people started to stick them on their fenders. Some like it and others don't. Then someone started to make copies of the shields and started selling them for $100-$150 a pair where the originals cost $600-$1000 and were recessed into the fenders. The discussions still go on so I don't think things like this will ever end. Now my opinion is the twin lepers and the V12 are tacky but the gas cap not so bad same with the one on the shift knob. You just can't over due it.

With all the false advertising back there, can't even be sure if its an 'R'.

I bet if you look at the front end and see the bonnet that there are two leapers on it, one for the driver and one for the passenger.

Sorry for the sideways pictures. It's the way they got uploaded.
I like it. Small and subtle.

If someone asked me about this, I would have said "hell no", but looking at the pictures, it doesn't look that bad. I guess it's because the leaper matches the trim and the trim and leaper work with the paintjob.

I personally think that decorations like this work better on cars designed around straight lines, rather than with the curves of the XK, but that's my personal opinion. If you like it, go for it!

Default I've gone leaper crazy

Received the Jaguar Leaper decals today. I ordered 4. I put one on the rotary shifter and one on the large trim piece above the glove box. Now I have 3 leaper stickers added to my XKR, including the gas tank fill cover. I used the leaper and the "Jaguar" below it on both the rotary shifter and trim piece. I messed up and the letters "J" "A" separated from the sticker so I had to put them on with my finger. They're a bit off center, oh well. I'll use the other 2 I ordered to replace them in a few months if I get to like them. I also have Leaper courtesy lights. I think I've gone leaper crazy. Just having some fun with it. Opinions...anyone, any comment. Oh, I almost forgot, I also have leaper Jaguar logo mats. Damn, I hope I don't out do the guy with facing leapers on the trunk and the "V12".

Do I get a... , , , , or all of the above?

A lot of Nissan GT-R owners, including myself, like to debadge the car by removing the "Nissan" hamburger badge, especially the trunk center badge. No shame in Jaguar owners. We are proud to display the "Jaguar" badge that represents the rich pedigree.

I like de-badging anything that is not on center, like the XK on the back.
