Default Thinking of buying 2007 XK convertible

Hello.

I am a Jaguar fan (new 88 XJ6, 92 XJS coupe, 05 XJ8 VDP) and currently own a very nice 92 XKS convertible but finding good help with service has me looking at a more modern Jaguar. I like the look of the XK convertible and wonder what I should look for in that model before buying. I am 6-3 and 190 lbs. Will I fit?

Thank you.

Stephen

Most likely, but you must sit in it and adjust the seat and steering wheel to make sure you're comfortable.

As for what to look for, because you've been a Forum member since 2014, you're probably familiar with the Advanced Search function. There are many threads that will answer most, if not all, of your questions, so there's no need to reinvent the wheel.

Good luck with your quest!

Vert head room with the top up is less than the coupe version but I've read threads where tall people like yourself had no trouble. Like Stuart suggested though, it is always best to sit in one and adjust the seat to your comfort level to be sure.

Are you looking for any thing particular for an 07 (color, etc)? You're not that far away, I see one today for sale in Clayton GA. Dark blue with cream interior....kind of high mileage (near 70K I think) but should be fairly easy to deal on since it is a private sale.

Send me a pm, I'll stop by and get the contact info if you are interested.

No biggy, I see today it is missing from where it was parked. If it shows up there tomorrow I'll PM you.
