Default Thinking of getting car wrapped.

Was looking for something similar in the same jaguar blue. All chrome , mirrors , side vents etc, boot spoiler, bonnet vents in carbon fibre black, and wheels plasti dipped black. Grills remaining black and fog light surrounds. Any views, this xk was done by the company in Ireland some time ago. Just fancy something different for a change. What is the correct blue color name, this car looks to have the proper color blue.

I like it, but would not do Jaguar French Blue. Something close, but not exact.

I wish Jaguar offered a paint to sample or "paint to any Jaguar color ever" option when ordering a car.

I was never a fan of French Racing Blue but it does stand out. I rather like the Jag colors, Indigo Blue and the older Pacific Blue. Keep us informed on how this project goes, It is always good to see the projects folks do with their Jags.

I like the French Racing Blue, though if I'd wrapped mine it would have been in red. I reckon the xkr looks brilliant in red.

Thinking now of the chrome blue look, and to leave all my chrome as i like it in situ, it would look well with the polished rims.

There are some very nice shades of blue and with the carbon fibre contrast it will certainly set your car apart from the rest. I personally don't mind the French Racing blue, however not a big fan of the chrome blue. If you go through with it, we're going to expect pictures. As a note, my (limited) wrap has given me no problems whatsoever with maintenance or wear.

The blue in my link is a bit lighter than the original jag blue a bit darker would be better, not many images of wrapped blue xk/xkr cars.

Those wheels in the video. I'd opt for the sponge bob square pants wheels at the end of the video.

On a serious note, I wonder about the durability of the hyrdro-dipped wheels. Anyone have any experience with them?

Go chrome blue. Why have a monstrously gorgeous car and not have as much visual impact as possible?

I love the chrome silver wrapped XKR-S, although it does look as though i belongs in the middle east.
