Well unfortunately it's August and the time for me to start thinking of the Vintage car races at Lime Rock Park Lime Rock Park - Lime Rock Park. Every year since they have held them I've always gone. So those in the area (NY , CT , Mass , VT , NJ ) who want to have a great weekend pick up your tickets and have a good time. This is a local track to me (25 miles) so I've been going there since 1960 and have always enjoyed it. Although it is on all week end I only attend the Monday races which I think is the best part of the weekend. I find it hard to believe these guys race their vintage (some are priceless) race cars with no fear of the crash and bangs that go on. Also their are car corrals where you meet great folks who share your brands. For the last 14 years I have been in the Italian car corral and if you are there early you get to enjoy a few parade laps on the course. This year I will be back in the British car corral so if you are interested take a ride over and enjoy the races. I hope to see some of you if you can make it.
