Default For those who use Torque Pro

I was wondering if those who have the Torque Pro App the amount of time you use it. I use mine maybe every 3rd drive and sometimes longer than that . I feel fairly safe as I have a normal start sequence before I go on a drive. That is checK the oil , brake fluid , PS fluid , tire pressures , coolant and washer fluid. So unless I have a catastrophic failure I shouldn't have a problem.

For me so far, I only used it to read and clear codes. When I fixed my MAF issue, I drove around with it attached for about 40 minutes to verify the fix. At that point I peeked around at the other measurements the app offers just out of curiosity.

I used to use it almost every time I drove my Jaguars. Mostly for watching the coolant temperatures. I certainly had it on when I made an 1100 miles long drive through hot Nevada deserts this past summer. Since that trip I have only used it once, perhaps falling into a false sense of security regarding the potential water pump issues?

I use it when I am going more than 50 - 75 miles each way on some kind of a jaunt. I also use it when checking something in particular.
