The XKR, despite the statement of ABOVE whatever, seems like a fairly decent price, even though the miles are high. If all the services have been accomplished, it may be a good deal. One thing I saw was at the bottom of the Features... Voice Activated Phone. Maybe I'm wrong on this, but I thought that EVERY XK was without voice control as it wasn't quite up-to-snuff so Jaguar didn't offer it so it wouldn't be a case for a lower rating.
As for the 2008 XK, it IS a convertible and personally I'd ALWAYS buy a 'vert, but no forced induction makes it merely a 'blast' to drive and not a 'holy crap!' to drive.

Since I drive my cat and don't let it sit a lot, I'd buy a lower mileage car as high mileage is OK to let sit. After five years they'd both have identical mileage on them.

Low mileage XK Convertible........ A bit pricey at $27k
High mileage XKR Coupe............ Seems OK at $22k, but verify servicing.

I don't know, Chaos, you're on your own on this one.

The middle 08 is my favorite combo but the kiddies would probably like the convertible!

The second one (higher mileage) looks to be a private seller who does not list his address so not sure where he is. Seems to be a fair price.

The third one (lower mileage) is at a Park Place dealership. I would bet you can get that for less. Maybe 3k less. Also, it's a one owner and there is more info on the car here, including CarFax.

Well, huh. When I talked to the Dealer, he told me none had voice. Maybe it was dropped after awhile? Even my build sheet has "LESS VOICE ACTIVATED CONTROLS" but I couldn't even order it.
Weird, man.

I'd take the 08 hands down, but that's me:

-low miles!
-convertible!
-no "whip" antenna (Jag dumped it after '07)! I think it ages the look of the cars.

I'm not an expert on the 07's, but I read that they had a few kinks that were ironed out by 08. On the other hand, maybe that XKR is high-mileage enough that some of those issues have been dealt with anyway?
Anyway, good luck!

The 08 vert for me. Granted it is not an XKR, but, it has about 55k less miles and is a one owner. Good luck.

Would you consider grey? I think these aren't great photos-- I LOVE this color on these cars. And if you're looking for low miles...

Must have been part of someone's private museum collection.
That's a low VIN number, and made in Feb. 2006 (mine was made in Sept.), and it has the wood steering wheel and adaptive cruise (something wonky with the antenna though).
Less than 1000 miles per year, pretty incredible.
