Jumped on the Dunlop Sport Maxx Race deal posted in F-Type forum. Going to stuff 305’s on the rear.. I hope I can get 5-6k miles out of them.

4 tires for $550. Super sticky.

Hopefully they can hold the 600hp I have coming my way!

+1.

If you don't own a torque wrench, Harbor Freight is a good source, particularly when on sale or with a coupon. I paid $10 for my 3/8" drive wrench on sale. Don't forget the rubber coated deep 19mm socket and extension to fit the OEM 2-piece lugnuts. And note that the correct torque spec is 92 ft.-lbs. Many tire shops have incorrect information.

Here's the torque wrench and socket:

Here's how everything fits in the trunk of my XKR, which did not come from the factory with a spare because it has the Alcon Performance Brake Package. The spacer in the top left corner is required for the spare to clear the rear brakes. The orange and black 12v air compressor is OEM and came with the Alcon package.

Since this is uncommon, I thought you'd like to see it. For details, see: https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...-brakes-67260/

I’ve just swapped the front tyres on my XJR as the F/left was getting worn due to the classic trials that I compete in at Hampton Downs, turn nine never seems to end and turn one is down hill:
