Question Track off button not responding.

Hi, the "Track off" button in my car is not responding, and I think the problem is the button itself, and I would like to take it out to investigate/fix it. But I am uncertain of how to do this, and how much force I can apply to take it out, donīt won't to brake it.
Is it "only" to use a couple of screw drivers and flip it out, or do I have to dismantle the whole console?
Appreciate advices, thanks.

Hopefully the mods will move this over to the XK8 forum - you should get more info there.

I'd guess you'd have to take the console out to be able to remove/replace the switch. When you get it working, you'll find life 'interesting', especially on a damp road; I lost both traction control and ABS on my XK8 when an ABS sensor failed, and it really makes you realise how much they save you from your own excesses...

There has not been much response because you have posted in the 2006 and later XK group.

You need to remove the console. See this video:

Okay, thank you both. It will be a nice saturday job. I had Track off working before, looking forward to bring it back in order. ;-)
