Default Trunk Blade

Any recent hits on where to come by a trunk blade - the piece of chrome that says 'JAGUAR' on my 2010 XK? Previous posts are somewhat dated on this matter and the website links fail. No luck with eBay as of yet. As I understand things, this would be an easy part to swap out.

Thanks.

I believe the part number is C2P21116...well at least according to the little known internet search engine called 'google'

Check with your dealer first before ordering one as they may be able to do you a deal.

Known as a chrome trunk/boot finisher...if your searching for 'blade' then that's most likely why your not coming up with anything.

For a new one, try Forum sponsor SNG Barratt and mention that you're a Forum member to get a discount. Then compare their delivered price to other internet vendors and decide.

For a used one, try dismantlers (junkyards) that specialize in Jaguar parts such as Pacific Motors. https://www.pacificmotors.com/shop/ Google "used Jaguar parts" and "Jaguar salvage yards".

That particular part number seems to be sans jaguar text. Was able to find C2P10786 thanks to the suggestions and it seems like it would be a match for my 2010.

LJM, I tried with no success to find a replacement for mine when I first got my car. Finally got tired of looking and just cleaned it up and painted body color. By the way, Jaguar calls it a "Plinth"

Default I have one for sale

I have one from my 2007 XK that I replaced due to a slight scratch. Yeah, I’m that OCD with my Car. Anyway I’d be happily to sell it if you’re interested
