Two Milestones: 25,000 miles and first time on a track
Greetings! I'll post a few pictures here from last weekend. I had two big milestones for my '07 XK: hitting 25,000 miles and my first time on the track, at the Virginia International Raceway. This was an open paced session, limited to about 100 MPH on the straights and not overly-aggressive on the turns, hence no need for safety checks or helmets. There was another XK in the line up as well. The car handled fabulously in the curves!
A good helmet will be my next acquisition, for sure. Our local Jaguar club (Carolina Jaguar Club) has started talks about a track day at VIR. Looking forward to that!
