Default Viezu Lowering Springs with Pics

So ordered the Viezu lowering springs for my 2012 xkr and absolutely love them. If you are not familiar with Viezu, these guys pretty much know everything about our jags that is possible and have amazing tunes (which I have) and pulleys and such. So here are a couple pics with the springs. So I have stock springs (44k on them) if anyone wants them. I live in the Midwest and this is my daily driver, so it's dirty...don't judge

Looks great but just a hair to low for or local roads. What is your ground clearance now.

Yeah, I thought so also but it actually clears out well on pretty much everything, as I live in the Midwest and have had no issues. Only lowered it about 20-25mm.

Think it lowered more like 30-35mm, a bit to low for me!:-)

As we are talking about clearance here what is the stock ground clearance for these XK's. Also is it the same for the 2007-2009 and the 2010-2015 and does it make a difference if you have an XK , XKR or XKR-S.

Thanks as I was just out in my garage so I took a ruler to my 2012 XKR and the lowest point on the nose of the car was a little over 4 1/2 ". Now this was to the lower plastic air dam under the nose. It's about 2" up to the belly plastic pan. I can see some scrape marks on the bottom of the air dam but so far I haven't hit any other parts of the under body. So back to the lowering of the car. If you drop it by 30mm (1.18") I would think you'll rip off the air dam.

No matter how careful I am going in and out of driveways, there are times when I scrape the front splitter, and I've broken them twice. I can't even imagine lowering it anymore, although I like the look and probably would like the handling that goes with it.

I removed my springs and struts in a matter of an hour (all 4 and car up on a lift and wheels already off). Needed a cheap little spring compressor for my fronts, the rears just dropped right out in less than 5 min each. Installing them back in is the same process and I think went quicker for me.
