Default Walk around and exhaust noise

This is the Elite RR and it is brutal, never did a video of the noise, so just did a walk around and a small bit of noise at the end of the video, it was done with an android note 3 phone, it is brutal loud, when on the road it's even more violent, pops and bangs. Must get proper video done with right equipment.

(I'll move my comment over here, so as to not hijack the other thread...)

Guess you need a new phone now, you blew out the mic on that one!
Thanks for the walk-around, don't think we've seen the rear of your car before (except those on your side of the pond, that's probably all they ever see).
Couple of questions:
1. I thought in an earlier thread you said you had removed the RS badging on the front, but now it looks like you've added some more on the rear as well?
2. What's the triangular thing in the middle of your rear diffuser?

That leaper on the rear window was a surprise! Looks good to me!

1. As i think i posted before got them on a impulse buy on ebay for next to nothing on a bid late one night, came in a pair front and back, stuck them on just passing one day , there on since, the newer lettering XK does look better than the smaller decal and matches the other better.

2. The triangular thing is an led F1 style brake light , does look good, it flashes on and off under braking, should of had that on video, here's a pic, you'll get the idea

Not much noise in cabin , just slight rumble, no drone, when driving. On exceleration and through gears it is serious lound, and on change down the crackle and downshift, love it in a small town with the walls either side, and if your stationary and give a blast it will put off alarms, People love it. I have to say it is one of the loudest i've heard on any car, even other sports car owner love it, was on a run in the summer and a guy was behind me in a ferrari 458 through some cities so we were having a bit of a rev off, when we parked up he came up to me and said "i have to say your exhaust sounds better than mine", that was something, Anyway i think this is the best sounding system i've heard on an xk. t is just one centre box and the rear box.

Your car is awesome!!! I love the sound.
2 quick questions.....

How did you get rid of your radio antennae?
Where did you get that F1 style brake light?

The small stub of the antenna is there, but i took out the fuse to stop it from going up, it looks awful, sat nav , cd ,phone reception all work ok, if you're using the radio station, sometimes the seek button goes on but i never listen to stations just cd's or the exhaust LOL.

The brake light i got on ebay, has 2 settings, it can stay on with park lights or use for braking , i wired it for braking, just go in to ebay and copy and paste as below and you'll see them.
Universal F1 Style DRL Red 12-LED Rear Tail Stop Fog Brake Light Lamp Car UK

dead cheap and simple to wire.

That's why I think the 4.2 sounds better than the 5.0. Sounds awesome with the throb and snarl.

Driving in to work this morning, I came up behind a big honkin' pickup truck, that had a small decal on the tailgate, which made me think of this thread.
Getting to the office, I googled the statement on the decal, and found it seems to come from the motorcycle world, but knowing how much the Brits love to protect their pedestrians (who else would think of putting exploding hoods/bonnets on their cars?), this seems like an appropriate decal for any XK/R sporting a gloriously modified exhaust system (you did it for the sake of the people, they've got to hear you coming, right?):

If I were into decals I would give this one serious consideration!
