Default Went and bought an XKR

Well after owning my XJ for only 9 month I missed my XK too much and bought a 2011 XKR yesterday! Driving it this last few days has left me speechless! I loved my 2007 XK that I had but this thing is in a different league!

200 extra ponies, yeah I'd think you'd notice the difference!
Congrats, and welcome back!

Yep, between a 5.0 XKR and an F-type I think I'd go XKR.

Beautiful ride, but holy hell - the steering wheel on your new car is on the wrong side!

(I'll show myself out...)

It's OK, just drive it using a mirror...

Just bought an XKR 2008 a month ago. My happiness is immense like yours. Enjoy the car. I also have 96 VP, which is fun driving but not as fast.

I'm basing that on the larger rear spoiler, the side skirts and front splitter that are part of the Speed Pack bodykit. The car needs the extra downforce (25% increase) to stick it to the road at higher speed.

It is possible that the car just has the bodykit, but that would be unusual. If it is a Speed Pack car, you should find it will do 174 on the clock, probably about 170 by GPS.
