Default What is real value of Free Service on a new Jag?

I am looking for an XK anywhere between 2008 and 2011. I'm wondering what real "savings" the free service provides on a 2011. Any thoughts on this?

Thx!

I think what they are talking about is basically an "oil change" which includes checking the fluids, wiper blades, etc. every 6 mths or 10,00 miles. I get the "oil change" done twice a year at the Jag dealer for about $100 per visit. If you ask for the 10,000 mile service they do the above and check the brake pads and rotors for $300. If you trust your local Jiffy Lube they probably can do it for about $40 or less.

So the moral to the story is to get an oil change unless you have the "free service". If you have the "free service" get the 10,000 mile service.
