What is this sound?
Need some input from members please.
I've noticed this sound of my 12 Xk engine idling for some time now. I thought it might be DI cycling but have noted that it seems to be getting louder over time (I use to only notice it with the bonnet open but now can hear it from within the car & windows down).
Do any 5.0L owners noticing the same sound or is this just a characteristic of that engine?
The recording was taken with my cell on the RH side about 12 inches above the strut tower. I apologize for the sound quality....the phone didn't seem to pick it up as loudly as it actually is.
