HEY ALL!

believe it or not, Ive yet to take possession of my XK!!!! Damn transport company doesn't seem able to keep their word! sorry for the rant, just lately Ive had to vent 1way or another & what better way then with others who share the same love & enthusiasm as I do for fine vehicles.

Anyhow, when I do get my car I was planning on doing a resonator delete. I did this on my Lexus SC430 & Merc SL550 couple yrs back & it gave these cars a whole new throaty growl altogether, which really got more heads to turn.

Now I'm anxious in doing this on my soon to be delivered XK & was wondering if any1 on this forums had tried it out & wanted to know what their thoughts were? how it change the sound & if they had any videos of revs to share?
already searched youtube but Ive had no luck.

So any thoughts on this cheap mod Guys?

is resonator the muffler delete?

 

I was wondering where the exhaust flaps are located in the 07-09 XKRs? I'm thinking about doing a resonator delete but I don't want to remove the flaps.

 

FWIW, I fkd with the exhaust on my 335 vert (4 times); and my 911. I would like more noise on the XK-R but am very gun shy about resonance. I figure Jag but some effort into the exhaust to make it what it is and a resonator delete may be something you'll live to regret.

Have you really considered just how good these sound stock??
