Question Whats this part

Adjacent to trunk electronics stack

What is this white 2 wire electrical connector for? It is adjacent to the electronics stack in the trunk/boot that has the navigation dvd unit.

I have no definitive answer, but usually odd ended connectors that have no termination seem to be quick connects for testing equipment.

Or a function the car didn't get ordered with. Sometimes you can find the connector in the wiring diagram and match the wire colors for verification.

How do you even KNOW that?
I'm not doubting, just curious. Slightly awed, maybe...

I wish I could say I am a master mechanic with the ability to identify any connector on any car... but I just spend too much time reading manuals and stuff on the net :

He's right! The X100's came with the same loose connector.
