wheels?

Hi all,
Anyone have any experience with this company that will exchange none chrome versions for a chromed set? They have this listing on Ebay...111312260077.
Just not sure of the chrome quality? My previous experience with chromed factory wheels was not good, in that, over time (8-10 yrs) the chrome breaks down around the bead and begins leaking air.
Happy Motoring.....

Which company are referring to. I have chrome wheels from California Chrome on my 2012 xk vert. I got them about 18 months ago and they are fine so far. I got them on an exchange program. Here is their website: California Chrome Wheel Inc. - Factory OEM Chrome Wheels and Rims for Jaguar, Land Rover, Mercedes, Lexus, BMW and more! - Chrome your rims at CalChrome!

You might get a better deal by going thru a custom chromer in your area. My experience with wheels got better results if I went to the actual chromer and had my own done..
That way I knew exactly what I was getting back and didnt get surprised.
A chrome shop that does motorcycle parts does the best work. Just make sure it is triple plated. Wish you luck

Thanks for your comments. having restored a couple of classics, I know about the chroming process. I'm just leering of any chome(d) wheels having he bad the experiences, I mentioned.
The company I mentioned, had a warranty of 5, or so years. This seems reasonable. Just didn't this company and perhaps, someone on his forum has dealt with them.
Again, thanks for your reply.
