Default This is why she's asleep in the barn.

First blast of winter, freezing rain, then 6+ inches of snow and 35mph winds, truck is spreading sand/salt mix.
Not ideal for a drive with the top down.

Wow, that is rough!!!

Sunny and beautiful here, finally have good top down weather. Nice your jewel is tucked away until climate improves.

Forgive me for posting a non-X150 picture, but here's the reason I sold my beloved 1968 Camaro SS350, I simply ran out of garage space...

I was mostly referring to the "Get an F150" post by George05, since F150 next to an XKR.
Remember though, here in Utah we have the "Greatest Snow on Earth"...... in the mountains. Which are ten+ miles from me.
The ski areas usually have 120" base or more. That's a lot of snow.

No snow here yet this year. This was two years ago:

Cleared the snow off and took it out. I've always used my Jaguars throughout the Winter

The most difficult issue I had with the XK in the snow or freezing cold is the door latches would not catch until the door was warmed up. I had to have a heat gun with me or the passenger door would bounce off the frame. I had to put a towel around the door grab to keep it closed until the car interior warmed up. Dealer and indy could never figure it out since everything was working and lubed.

Car drove fine in the winter or with very light snow. I would not drive any car if heavy snowfall if I can avoid it.

Same for me.

I eventually discovered it was after washing/drying the car without then taking it out for a drive to get thoroughly warmed through. Drying the door shut faces doesn't get all the moisture out of the lock and it takes very little to freeze it up.

As long as it's above freezing, I wash my cars! Heated water in wash bucket is the key. Now I have a Master Blaster 8hp so I think this would not be an issue if still had the XK.

Yes, Looks like a good one too especially close to the coast where I am. Hopefully not “heart attack” snow. Light and fluffy is not quite so bad.
Jag stays in the garage till roads are well dried. GGG and MarkyUK’s posts remind me to gummi pflege the Subaru’s door seals tomorrow so they don’t stick. 👍

My XKR is taking a "nap" for a few days.

After last year's debacle of trying to drive in a blizzard, I decided to invest in a better winter solution:

Aside from the right mirror freezing and falling off, it handled like a champ!!

Perfect snow transport. Good choice to keep the Jag inside.
