Default Wife had the dreaded Radio stuck on fault.

My wife's XK had the radio staying on fault this morning, I have read previous posts so tried the usual, hold he stop button, lock the car so beeps all that, nothing worked. In the end told her to lock car up and leave the radio on and I would travel to her work and do the Battery thing. While we are talking the radio shuts off! She unlocks the car, I say start it up to see what happens and now no radio at all, I will try the battery hard reset tonight and see what happens after that.

How old is your battery? I'm a new believer in replacing the battery to fix electrical gremlins because it worked for my XKR's random electrical problems!

From everything I've read, whenever you have electrical gremlins, the battery is the cause in 99% of the cases.
