Just tossing this out for the fun of it but I recall seeing a front end kit for the XK that resembles the AM . Do you think someone will build an aftermarket front end for the XK that resembles the F-Type. I wonder if it would fit in or look ugly but it would be interesting to see if someone could photoshop it in and see.

 

Before the XKR sunset I was hoping the next XK generation would have a front and back end to resemble the C-X75. Interior, electronics, and transmission updated. This is not to say I'm unhappy with the XKR, but that I would be all over the next generation sporting these improvements. I personally don't like the center bar across the grill of the F-type but could live with it. I find the open grill of the Maserati and, of course, the C-X75 more desirable.

My thoughts exactly! I was never crazy about that center bar either and also made the comparison to the Maserati nose which was wide open with no obstruction.

 

I feel it is a big mistake that Jaguar is discontinuing the XK. The F Type is not a replacement but a Mercedes SLK/Porsche Boxster competitor.
