Default Windscreen washer fluid leak

Topping up the windscreen wash, noticed a pool of fluid on the floor. I'm guessing the reservoir must have cracked over winter. Anyone replaced said part? Or had Jag do it (got a rough cost)?

Thanks.

You'll be unlucky if the reservoir has cracked. It's worth checking for a leaking seal before assuming the worst:

There's a seal on filler tube to reservoir (item 9), one on the screenwash pump (item 3) and another on the headlamp wash pump (item 5). There's also a grommet on the fluid level sensor (item 7).

Good shout Graham - it turned out to be one of the seals, local garage sorted it out, sadly they also found alot of give on my rear lower arms and my diff seal leaking again. May just bite the bullet and buy a Quaife diff

That's the spirit, out of the ashes rises the Phoenix!

I wish there was a Quaife for my model, I even went so far as to contact a custom diff builder who makes LSD units for BMW's. He is too busy to take on a new brand as his business is booming with the new generation BMW's and getting those owners into superior hook-up at launch.
