xf will only start with smart key inserted

xf will only start with smart key inserted

I have a low battery I believe. now it will only start with the smart key inserted

The XK's use a CR2032 3v. I assume the XF is the same.

Confirm it is a CR2032. It is very sensitive to battery voltage. I have found Duracell "Duralock" to work well. Available at Walgreens.

One other thing Anne. There are a set of threads dedicated to the XF. For further issues with your car you will get better responses there.
