Default XKR 75 (with stripes) 😁

Hi, I'm new to this forum and new to Jaguar ownership. I'm lucky enough to have found and, consequently, bought a 2010 XKR 75 with 24,000 miles on the clock, with full service history. It is an amazing car, all round and I've only had it a couple of weeks.

My question is; are there any particular 'things' or known issues that I should look out for. Clearly, keeping on top of the servicing is crucial, but I would appreciate any feedback from you guys and girls on what to look out for.

Below is a link to my 'pride and joy'!

Thanks for any of your advice.

Two things, since dipsticks and gauges are things of the past in these cars, make sure you check your oil frequently through the computer (and contrary to the manual, waiting 5 minutes will not give you a reading, more like 30), and make sure to check coolant level occasionally. Water pumps have been an issue, so look for signs of seepage. Otherwise, these are and can be very reliable cars with little extraordinary maintenance.

Welcome. Nice ride, Just keep on top of checking your fluids and ensure that you battery is 100% all the time. If you do not have one, I would suggest you get a battery tender. Lots of info on this site on batteries and low voltage consequences.
