Default XKR Performance underrated by Jaguar?

I know Jaguar rates the 2010 XKR zero to 60 as 4.6 seconds I just found a test by Car & Driver that came up with other numbers:
Their test showed:
Zero to 60 mph: 4.0 sec
Zero to 100 mph: 8.8 sec
Zero to 130 mph: 14.7 sec
Street start, 5-60 mph: 4.4 sec
Standing ¼-mile: 12.3 sec @ 119 mph
Top speed (governor limited): 163 mph
Braking, 70-0 mph: 160 ft
Roadholding, 300-ft-dia skidpad: 0.92 g

Any way you slice it, those things are really quick. The first 5.0 XKR test drive I did convinced me that I had to have one....now if I can just find a traffic attorney with a reasonable retainer...

Most of the car rags are using rolling start times for their 0-60 data, it's more impressive. There's a 7 inch gap from the timer to the staging position so a few hundred milliseconds are eliminated that way. Still an awful quick 2 ton ride.
