Hello XK brothers and sister,

It's been some time since I've posted. My father's XK120 is hibernating, mildly, because Bay Area winters are usually not terribly cold and/or wet (last winter being an extreme outlier), and I've not had too much to write about.

I'm curious if there is a database/serial number lookup for crankshafts. A machinist friend of mine has a crank that was left behind by a deadbeat owner, and it would be a shame to have it go the scrapyard. I would be happy if I could find out what kind of engine it came out of.
