Location of Body Number

Location of Body Number
Hello,
My father in law has bought years ago a XK120 OTS, chassis number 670639. He tells me that the car has been rebuilt from a Ali Body. How can I check the Body Number? I know there is a body number indicated next to chassis number but is there a Body number on the body itself?
